Sonu got Telly Award PDF

rediff_081222.jpgMUMBAI: Amul Star Voice of India Chhote Ustaad was voted the best music programme of the year at the Eighth Indian Telly Technical Awards held in Mumbai on 13 June. The show, produced by Gajendrra Singh's production hosue Saibaba Telefilms, is aired on Star Plus.

Indiantelevision.com's New Talent Awards that incorporated the Indian Telly Technical Trade, Channel and Programming (TTTCP) Awards, recognise the production teams, the marketing whiz kids, the ad sales teams and the programmers behind any creative idea or show.

Composer Lalit Sen won the best music director of the year award for Star Plus' Kumkum Pyara Sa Bandhan, while Sonu Niigaam and Pamela Jain were voted the best title singers for the same show. Raju Singh won the award for best background music for a TV programme for Sony's Amber Dhara.

Nawab Arzoo won the TV lyricist of the year award for his work on Star Plus' Kumkum Pyara Sa Bandhan.
